My lovely wife booked our trip to Paris as a birthday present to me. She is very meticulous, down to the last detail and trawled tripadvisor for the best hotel/deal, given her incredible fussyness and requirements when it comes to hotels. With this hotel she even picked the room in the brochure. All details were made personally with the chief conscierge of the hotel, Farouq.

Even though we could not arrive at the hotel until 8pm, the hotel room was waiting for us (I had so many doubts on this as it seems customary, in Europe, that even though you request a room, it is given out on a first come, first served basis). The hotel was (is) magnificent. Quiet, elegant, well furnished and above all, comfortable.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpfull. They all speak english, which make us mere mono-linguals look a bit sheepish. Farouq in particular is the best kept secret in Paris!!!! His knowledge is limitless. He can tell you where you should and should not go. Where and where not to eat. He can get you the best seats, etc.etc.Great Hotel, Great conscierge, Great holiday.........WHAT MORE CAN I SAY.
