Hotel Splendid Etoile very convenient

Booked this hotel after reading tripadvisor reviews. This was our second time staying in Paris and the location was very convenient. It’s close to the Champs and we even drove into the city from the Loire Valley and parking on the street wasn’t really an issue. The hotel does have a great view of the Arc and the concierges are very helpful, all 3 of them. (Day, evening and night). We were given assistance on booking a day trip to Mont St. Michel, closeby restaurants to eat at and calling a taxi because the Air France buses were on strike. Rooms were clean, except for the countertop. It looked dirty even though it actually wasn’t. I think it’s the material used and perhaps the bathrooms are not that new. Overall enjoyed the stay there and loved loved loved the location.
