Great for Women traveling alone!

Its been quite awhile since I stayed at Splendid Etoile but from reading reviews I’m very glad to know it has not changed! This is the perfect location and setting. As a woman traveling alone for business I felt safe and very much at home at Splendid Etoile. I’ve longed to go back for a romantic holiday, but not that lucky yet. I have stayed in the room where you are looking at the Arch d’Triomphe gain that rosy glow in the late summer afternoons—magnificent. I’ve visited Paris as well as worked there many times and I have yet to find a more convenient location. You can get to most everywhere without a transfer and find it most convenient for business and sightseeing. This is not the modern hotel with business facitlities—its just a much more enjoyable option than staying at La Defense at a much more reasonable rate than the other “business hotels” in the area. Some of the most memorable memories I have is of the Splendid Etoile bathrooms and those huge lovely tubs! Hopefully they still supply the bubbling bath gel....
