Amazing location, friendly staff, great room, good price!

What more can you ask for? This was my third trip to Paris, and my first stay at the Splendid Etoile.

First, the location is ideal. Not only can you see the Arc de Triomphe from your hotel window (even from our lowest-fare “Standard” room), the Air France autobus from CDG (#2—Etoile) stops right across the street. There is also a Metro station less than a block away, and an entrance to the underground walkway (to access the Arc, or to cross to the opposite side of the Etoile conveniently and safely) about 50 metres away from the hotel’s entrance.

The room itself was lovely—well appointed, with a lovely (almost Western) bathroom, ample closets, seating, etc.

The staff is friendly and accomodating, and made the trip an easy one.

I give the Splendid Etoile my highest recommendation. You honestly can not go wrong with this “Best Parisian Buy.”
