Splendid Etoile is wonderful!

My daughters and I stayed at the Splendid Etoile for three nights on the last leg of our 2 week journey through Europe. Our junior suite was fabulous! We had a balcony with views of the Arc de Triomphe and the top portion of the Eiffel Tower. The metro stop is right across the street and the Champs-Elysees is within sight of the hotel. The housekeeping staff had our room cleaned within a few minutes of our departure each day. Robes and even washcloths are provided!! Room service delivered coffee each morning for only 10 Euro for two, which is less than many of the local cafes. The front desk staff were helpful and accommodating. We booked directly through the hotel website so breakfast was not included in the price of our room. At 16 Euro for Continental or 23 Euro for full breakfast, it was pricey, but the many cafes nearby offer better value. We would highly recommend the Splendid Etoile!
