Splendid is Splendid!

My wife and I stayed at the Splendid Etoile for 5 days in early April. You can’t beat the location. We could see the Arc De Triomphe(spelling) from our window! You have an elevator to the Metro right outside the Hotel doors. Don’t take a cab from the Airport, there’s an Air France shuttle that takes you right to the hotel. Get a round trip ticket, it’s cheaper than 2 one ways. Didn’t eat in Hotel, too expensive. There’s a great cafe down the street where you can get coffee and pastries on the cheap. Nice staff but try to speak a little French or they can be a little snotty, but then again you’re in France! Enjoy!
